National Federation of Independent Business Awards Radogno “Guardian of Small Business Award”


In recognition of Senator Christine Radogno’s (R-Lemont) excellent pro-business voting record, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has awarded Radogno with their “Guardian of Small Business Award.”

The most prestigious honor that NFIB bestows on legislators, Radogno scored 100 percent on key small business votes taken over the last two years.  The award is given in recognition of lawmakers’ efforts to help small businesses thrive by advancing a legislative agenda that supports the growth of well-paying jobs in Illinois.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and we need to ensure they have the tools needed to operate and thrive,” said Radogno.  “One way to can help small business owners in Illinois is by passing a full-year balanced budget with structural reforms, which will help improve Illinois’ economy.”    


The NFIB is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that acts as “The Voice of Small Business,” representing the interests of small, independent business owners and protecting their rights to operate and grow their businesses.

 

“Leader Radogno has shown time and again her commitment to helping small business owners thrive in Illinois,” said Kim Clarke Maisch, NFIB/Illinois State Director.  “Through her 100 percent NFIB voting record, she has demonstrated her willingness to work towards workplace reforms, ending burdensome regulations and bringing some commonsense to state government that will help grown the state’s economy.”
